When community leads, transformation follows
On 26 July 2025, iTani was honored to participate in the Telemong Durian Carnival, an initiative by the Telemong Fruit Association to bring together durian farmers, agro experts, and technology players in one vibrant gathering — all with one shared goal: advancing the future of farming.
The event saw strong participation from key players including the Department of Agriculture (DOA), Maybank, and several agrochemical companies, all of whom are playing a role in shaping a more sustainable and tech-enabled durian farming future.
But for us, the biggest highlight wasn’t just the footfall — it was the milestone.
During the carnival, iTani officially signed a partnership agreement with the Telemong Fruit Association, solidifying our long-term commitment to support durian growers in the region. This partnership paves the way for stronger collaboration in promoting AI-powered drone technology, training farmers, and building local confidence in smart solutions.
The carnival wasn’t just about tech and talks — it was a celebration of durian, with activities including a durian competition, community showcases, and endless conversations with growers passionate about improving their craft.
We’re excited to continue supporting the Telemong community in every way we can — from the ground up.
